With echoes of sea shells in the ridged pattern and a slightly wonky heart shape created by the power of the sea I was thrilled to spot this little piece on Spittal Beach in Northumberland.

Full description
A necklace featuring a very special beach find; a patterned, heart shaped piece of striking blue sea glass.
The sea glass has a ribbed, sun flare pattern and has been set in recycled sterling and fine silver which has been shaped to follow the rippled pattern creating an almost shell like edge to the pendant. Polished to a pleasing sheen this patterned pendant catches the light beautifully.

Pendant: 1.6cm at the widest point
1.2cm at the longest point
1.7cm at the longest point including the bail attaching the pendant to the chain
Chain: 1.7mm wide and 45.72 cm / 18 inches long recycled sterling silver belcher chain
Please note the dimensions as photographs are taken using a macro lens and so may appear larger on screen. The pendant has been lit from above and will appear slightly darker in colour without a direct light source.
