Full description
This is Felicity. After leaving school she began a promising career as an apprentice welder but the call of dance nagged away at her. Partway through a course on submerged arc welding she found herself up on points for no apparent reason. Later on she failed her final practical exam as a result of trying to apply the principals of the Vaganova method. Eventually she faced the truth, dance was to be her life.
This is an original A4 (210mm x 297mm) sized artwork drawn by myself. It is not a print. It is drawn on an off white heavyweight watercolour paper (I forget which make) using pigment liner pens and arist quality acrylic paints. The shading is done with diluted Indian ink.
