I was lucky enough to spot a piece of red tartan fabric in a local charity shop which I immediately grabbed! So far I have made two shopping bags, both slightly different but have more fabric left. It is always exciting to start new projects and I have ideas for more bags!

Full description
This shopping bag is made from red tartan fabric which has been strengthened with interfacing and lined with cotton. There is a hand embroidered pocket on the front with a magnetic clasp for safety, great for keeping your phone handy, and there is also a double internal pocket for keys etc. It is a roomy 13" x 14 " ( 33cms x 36cms) and has long straps to pop over your shoulder which measures 27"(69cms) I picked up the fabric in a charity shop and couldn't believe my luck! The lining is repurposed from a gents dress shirt.
