Full description
Fine silver, mint leaf necklace. I have handmade this necklace using eco-friendly silver metal clay and a mint leaf. I apply metal clay paste onto the back of the leaf, then kiln fire it resulting in solid 999 fine silver. The surface texture is individual to each leaf, making this a bespoke necklace design.

Silver metal clay is manufactured from 100% recycled scrap silver from medical, electronic, automotive and many other industries. What makes it a magical material to use is it's versatility and ease to texture and mould just like any other clay. After shaping, drying and firing the final result is solid hallmark quality silver.
If you like what you see and would like to create your own silver metal clay jewellery, please check out my shop for details of workshops I run.
