Full description
I knitted this fiddle or fidget muff with a multitude of commercial, washable yarns. There are lots of different textures including smooth, bobbly, sparkly and eyelash yarn. I used a variety of stitches and I then added embellishments including a pom pom, a double curlicue (which can be separated and re-twisted), several crochet flowers and leaves, a satin ribbon and a woollen cord, both of which can be untied and retied. Tactile and visually stimulating and lots of things for restless fingers to fiddle with.
The whole of this muff is soft, with no hard elements.

This is a generous size, sufficient for an adult's two hands, so could also be beneficial as a hand warmer.
