There are many pieces of ancient South American Pottery patterns which I have taken inspiration from. This slab serving plate was made with this in mind. It has a stylised bird inlaid into the terracotta clay and refilled with a contrasting white clay. The glossy glaze finish brings out the warm terracotta colour.

Full description
Thisis a very unique plate or serving platter which would suit the serving of hot or cold food and snacks. Could be used as a decorative small display dish. Made by hand in the slab Pottery method from red terracotta clay with an inlaid cream white outline of an Aztec, Inca stylised bird. Measures 20 cms long x 11 cms wide x 2 cms deep. Glazed in a clear leadless glossy glaze finish, Suits hot or cold food serving. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
