The concentric circles is something I use quite often in my work, and with the greens and blues I feel there is a water influence in there from my proximity to the mud and river of the estuary. The red decoration contains the water, and allows that containment to stay with the owner.

Full description
Black stoneware plate with green and red glaze. Size 27 cm x 13.5 cm I run workshops for beginners and experienced hobbyists, and love to see the things people create. When people contact me and have an idea that they wish to try I will begin the process and see where it leads. This plate was one of those items and it inspired others to create their own handbuilt item
