FELTED KNITTED CROSSBODY BAG
This crossbody boho bag, or festival purse is truly unique. I used my own handspun merino wool yarns in pale blue and multi purple merino, shiny rose fibre and recycled sari silk to knit it. I then felted it, to add strength and minimise stretching. The bag is square with a flap.
I added a loop and Dorset button closure. I made the button by weaving toning cotton yarns around a brass ring. The purse measures approximately 6.5" (16.5cm) square.
I made a matching corded strap which is 49.5" (126 cm) long, ending in tassels at the base of the bag.
