Handspun Yarn, Merino Wool Plied with Cotton and Kid Angora, Blue, Green, White
I blended soft merino wool in shades of emerald green, turquoise and ultramarine blue together with fluffy white kid angora on my drum carder and handspun this blend on one of my spinning wheels. I then plied this single yarn with a light grey cotton thread which gives a pleasant sheen.
Weight - 92g
Length - 67m (approx)
Thickness - variable sport - aran
This should be enough to make a hat, a pair of gloves or something larger if combined with another yarn. If knitting or crocheting with it, it is essential to check your tension. Gentle hand wash only.
