Welcome to my shop - Lorna Gilbert Ceramics
I make small batch ceramics here in Yorkshire.
Inspired by the Yorkshire country side and childhood memories of the wild mountains and oceans of the West Coast of Scotland, I make stoneware pots for people seeking space and calm. Ceramics to be held, used and enjoyed. Pots that are tactile and well proportioned, designed to fit perfectly in your hands.
Everything here is made by me in my studio in Yorkshire under the watchful eye of our 7 year old dog Lola.

This cup forms part of my Hare mustard moon range - The hare can symbolise
change and feminine energy and is also often linked with the moon's energy.
Height 9cm X Base diameter 7.5cm
Fired at 1260 degrees C.
Made from white stoneware clay.
Thrown on my wheel in my pottery studio in Leeds, Yorkshire.
