I owned a collection of Charmouth Pottery cottages which were gathering dust.
I enjoy incorporating 3-D objects with traditional mosaic materials, by cutting them into halves.
The cottages proved quite easy to cut.
I lived in Kent most of my life and memories of the rural scenery still inspire my work.

A path of ceramic California pebbles leads to the section of the Charmouth Pottery cottage I cut from the ornament.
I have used glitter-backed, and foil-backed mosaic tiles, traditional tesserae, large aqua moulded glass leaves, and millefiori.
13cm diameter mirror.
30x42cm.
D-ring hanger attached.
Clean with a damp cloth.
