Full description
Silver drop earrings textured with vintage lace.
Completely handmade in my studio in York.
I use vintage lace from my vintage collections for these earrings which has been sourced over the years at French brocantes.
Using my rolling mill to impress the lace fabric onto silver sheet I then use a disc cutter to hand punch circles before doming to give a concave shape, filing, lots of emery and a deep polish.
I also handmade the fish hook ear wires.
They measure 1cm in diameter.
Gorgeous and eye-catching, the fabric texture and simple design make for a beautiful contemporary earring.
Please note, each pair will differ due to the nature of the lace and different sections that I cut out.
They come gift packaged in one of my lovely branded jewellery boxes, complete with all the trimmings.
