I have always had a soft spot for these love spoons. I trained in Wales and while I was there came across these ancient tokens of affection where they first originated centuries ago, and was amazed by the variety and scope in their designs. Many motifs have meaning to them, and this helps to make each spoon unique in nature and meaning. There is an extra sense of warmth creating something that honours a tradition from long ago that has its roots in love.

Love Spoon made from reclaimed teak. This love spoon features a stag with a crown of impressive antlers, heart motif and finished in a decorative spoon bowl. Spoons like this were often given as a token of thanks, love and affection, so they make wonderful gifts for anniversaries, engagement, Valentines Day or perhaps as a thank you to a best man or bridesmaid. The spoon is finished in beeswax, Height 220mm, width 45mm, depth 15mm, weight 25g.
