This bag was made from a red skirt and a striped dress. I wanted to make a fun child's bag, and the stripes seemed perfect for that. The tassels were from the lids of two lids candles that I'd had.

This small upcycled bag is an ideal size for a child to put on their shoulder.
The pockets at the front and back are a great size for putting a small toy in, as shown in the photo. PLEASE NOTE: the woollen doll is for illustration purposes only.
To match with the red fabric and striped fabric, there is one strap of each material. The front has two teal-coloured tassels for decoration.
The bag is 28cm wide; the height at the sides is 24cm, and the design means the centre dips to 19.5cm high. The overall strap length is 54cm.
