The outer material came from a panelled skirt, which I thought would work really well as a pleated design. I used one on the black panels for across the top, then used the tasselled belt to add decoration to that section and to make the side loop.
The inside was from a roller blind that had been damaged, so rather than throw it away, I kept it for projects such as this.

Full description
This unique upcycled large bag is ideal for toiletries or make-up, but could have many other uses. It has a pleated design, with floral patterned fabric on the outer part of the pleat and black on the inner part.
The lining is a waterproof fabric (originally a bathroom roller blind), although the seams are not waterproofed.
The zip has a beaded decoration attached, and there is a handle loop at the side with 2 tassels.
The bag is 26cm wide and 28cm high.
