Oxidised Recycled Sterling Silver Large Colourful Surfite Pendant Necklace
Bright and bold, this one-of-a-kind necklace features a vibrant Surfite stone, set in recycled sterling silver. The Surfite stone, with its striking array of colorful stripes, is a captivating centerpiece, each line telling its own story of the surf and sea. Made from recycled surfboard resin, every Surfite stone has a unique color pattern, making each necklace a true individual piece of wearable art.
The oxidised silver setting is accented with handcrafted pebble details, adding texture and depth to the design. Surfite is made from resin run offs created when glazing surfboards. Over time layers of resin build up creating a slab of multiple colours, in the past these run offs would have been broken up and sent to land fill. Instead, by cutting them into shapes which can be made in jewellery this process reduces the amount that is sent to landfill by up to 90%.
