Full description
This is a printing from my unique original sketch of historical image in high quality pencil.
This sketch captures a nostalgic view of Time Square, New York City, during its bustling early 20th-century era. The iconic skyscrapers and vaudeville shows, highlight the area's role as a cultural and entertainment hub. Since the early 1900s, Times Square has been synonymous with the glamour of Broadway and the vibrancy of city life. The people, dressed in classic attire, walking amidst the lively streets, evoke a sense of timeless urban energy.
Also this sketch captures the Astor Hotel standing prominently as a centerpiece. Opened in 1904,it's grand presence embodied the glamour and sopphistication of old New York. Sadly, the hotel was demolished in 1959, making the end of an era.
The sketch, however, immortalizes itys significance amidst the vibrant cityscape, surrounded by iconic skyscrape, theaters, and the constant hum of urban life.
This printing is presented on a 250gsm acid free linen fabric paper and adheres to a acid free 5mm formboard with colourless fixative spray with anti UV protection. Image size 18cm square with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag.
