I love textured clay pieces and the way glaze melts and moves over it. I intended to use such a glaze over this heavily textured dish but chose a simpler celadon glaze so as not to hide the flower shapes. It is very time consuming cutting the different flowers and scoring and slipping them in place but its very pretty.

Full description
A handbuilt square dish made from stoneware clay. Its been decorated with flowers cut from thin slabs of clay using cutters of different sizes. Very pretty. The trinket dish is 6ins (15cms) square.
