Full description

Nine approx 12cm lengths of cane to cut into murrine with Christmas bauble patterns. Cane diameters measure approx 6-8mm.

This pack contains a range of transparent turquoise and white; red and white; and red, white and aventurine green (the very darkest areas in the baubles are sparkly aventurine green).

Handmade in the UK with 100% Bullseye glass.

Suitable for fused glass art in a kiln.

Over 100 grams in this pack.

Each batch is handmade and may vary a little from the photos but will include the same colour and design range.

Before use in glass fusing projects, the cane will need to be chopped into short pieces - tile nippers are the best tools for this.

For the five petal flower shapes I'd recommend firing no higher than 740c to maintain the shape (this may vary for your own kiln).

I'm a fused glass artist too, so I completely understand the need for compatibility in glass supplies and can guarantee that these stringers are made with 100% Bullseye glass. Bullseye glass is often described as 90coe, but should not be mixed with other products that are described solely as 90coe, Bullseye glass is tested for compatability with all other Bullseye glass at the time of manufacture.
