These are one of my favourite plants and I just had to paint it.

Original watercolour painting of a beautiful Parrot Tulip from my garden. I love these flowers and have grown several different varieties which I hope to paint. It is painted on acid free artist quality paper using artist quality paints. It is hard to photograph paintings with white backgrounds they tend to show as grey or blue. The paper is white in colour not as shown in photograph.
The painting measures 11.75 inches x 8 inches (30 cms x 20 cms) excluding frame and mount. The painting has plexiglass and is supplied with the mount and frame. The frame is white and the same style as that shown in the trio of onion painting and the Bedruthan Steps painting.
