Full description
Yarn: Banana yarn is a magical handspun and handmade vegan friendly yarn, soft to touch with a beautiful slubby texture for fiber artwork
Colour: milky white banana yarn.
Yardage: 10 yard yarn pack for small craft projects.
Wash: Handwash cold with light detergent.
A soft silky handmade yarn. Banana yarn has no natural stretch when balled up from the hank and knits and crochets beautifully in a variegated bohemian way. It has a really wonderful drape and weight to your finished piece of fibre art. Often described as a vegan alternative to silk, banana fibre has the versatility of silk. This yarn has been spun tightly to form a strong, thick yarn with a gorgeous sheen and a lovely slubby texture.
Handspun by women's co-operatives in India. Unique and inspirational ethically produced yarns.
Multiple available.
