A couple of weeks ago I needed a birthday present for an old school friend and trialled a similar make-up bag using a remnant of fabric I had squirrelled away. She was thrilled with it and so I decided to stitch a little selection of bags using up some other remnants.

SAMPLE A simple, zip up pouch made from a remnant of Sanderson brown floral linen 'Pangbourne' fabric with a peony and lilac design. It is lined with sage green polka dot cotton and has 'boxed' seams.
Initially I made some beautifully large shopping bags with this fabric but I had a small piece leftover and thought it would make a perfect autumnal pouch - perfect for cosmetics, pens and pencils, knitting or crochet notions and all manner of other projects.
The pouch measures approximately 24cm width and 19cm depth and is slightly smaller than the other ones I have advertised as I had to work with the size of the remnant available. This is the only one in this pattern available. The fabric is old but unused and unwashed.
The pouch shown in the photos is the one that you will receive.
