Full description
The luxurious dichroic glass cabochons for these earrings were handmade, by me, with love.
Fused in my glass kiln to very high temperatures, 1500 degrees F and annealed for strength.
They comprise 2 layers of handcut bullseye glass,with the top, precious dichroic glass, layer rather magically reflecting or refracting different colours as they catch the light.
Dichroic glass has to be the most perfect glass for a glass addict like myself. What I put into the kiln is never what comes out. I call it Magic.
This series of Luxury earrings are designed to be specially eye catching with a full layer of dichroic glass and then further dichroic decoration on top.
Note the word Dichroic means showing different colours when viewed from different directions
The earrings are hung from silver plated bails and then sterling silver hooks, the bails being securely glued in place to the back of the glass with strongest E6000 glue..
I post these in a little white gift box 4 x 5cm as shown in the photos so you can see the approximate size of the earrings..
This will make a lovely present for yourself of for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
I've taken several photos of the earrings to try to show you the top colour which changes in the light.
Note that though in some photos the earrings may look to be different colours this is because of the two colour quality of the dichroic, they are both cut from contiguous pieces of glass
