These brass paraffin camping stoves have a real steampunk look to them when given a polish, it just needed a little something to finish the conversion to a lamp off, enter an old bird feeder which Jane was throwing out which I have turned into a unique cage style shade!

Full description
A wonderfully steampunk brass table lamp built around a Primus Paraffin stove. The Stove arrived with moderate tarnishing, most of which I have removed to reveal a well-preserved stove with a few dents that have happened in its 95 year life. The Primus date stamp ‘T‘ on the base signifies a production date of 1929!
I removed the burner and fitted a brass ES lampholder on the original brass drip cup with a cage style shade made from a wire bird feeder with suitable brackets welded on and a coat of dark green quality metal paint. I cleaned and polished the brass but have made no attempt to get a high polish or repair the dents and scratches that hark back to its working life and make this a unique piece with real vintage character.
The bulb fitted in the photos is a 4W LED curly filament ST64 type with an ES (E27) fitting and will be supplied with the blowlamp. 6 feet/1.8 metres of luxury black braided 3 core flex with a black inline switch and black plug complete this unique lamp.
