I was inspired to make this picture by my fascination for Whales that live in our Oceans, The size of them and the distances they can cover is amazing. I chose the fabric as it gives a sense of geography, and chose colours related to the sea.

Full description
Hand Embroidered Framed Picture of Blue Whale. The inside of the Whales body is embroidered with flowers, with hearts imerging from his blow hole. The Whale is embroidered onto cotton fabric showing a grid map of the Pacific Ocean. The embroidery has been stretched and mounted onto board before framing. It measures 27cm square. This is the largest in a series of 3 Whales in matching frames.
