Full description
These earrings are made from genuine stabilised turquoise. Two 8 mm turquoise beads have been used for each earring. The fancy filigree work in between the turquoise is sterling silver as are the little 2 mm beads below the others. The ear wires are diamond cut solid silver sparkle hooks which look a little more special and go well with the filigree work.
The total drop of the earrings, including the ear wires is just under 1.5" or 3.5 cm.
All materials used are solid 925 sterling silver or stabilised turquoise.
Turquoise is one of the earliest gems used to promote safe travel, and the Native American Indians believed it to be a stone of great protection, able to turn aside the evil eye and bestowing safety on their horse riders. It is associated with the Throat/Thyroid Chakra Vishuddhi.
This one of a kind piece you see in the photos is the same pair you will receive. All my items are ready to send so cannot be adjusted (unless you would prefer a different ear fitting such as leverback, stud and butterfly, or another metal if you cannot wear silver - contact me to discuss).
