Full description
This beautiful hand-woven scarf is made from a blend of wool and acrylic and is very soft and warm, yet with a lovely drape. It is hand-made on a rigid heddle loom with a colourful warp in sunset shades, with a mixture of navy blue and the sunset yarn used as a weft. The weaving was created using the "clasped weft" technique to create a lovely pattern, which reminds me of a city skyline. Depending on which way up you look it could be a skyline at night with a dark sky and lit buildings, or dark buildings against a gorgeous sunset.
It is perfect for keeping the cold wind from your neck and looks great too.
The scarf is approximately 160 cm (63 inches) in length and 32 cm (12.5 inches) in width.
I have taken a few photos to show the colour of the wrap, but, as you know, monitors vary.
Should you need to wash it, for best results, hand wash in cool to warm water, gently, without agitating too much and dry flat, pulling gently into shape if necessary. Do not tumble dry.
