Calendula perfectly moisturizes the skin, smoothes it and nourishes it. Its effectiveness is increased by vitamin E, commonly known as the "vitamin of youth". It is recommended for dry and normal skin, especially sensitive, dry, prone to irritation, wrinkles, chapping and redness. It is used primarily externally, the indications for use are skin inflammations, including: rashes, acne, skin irritations. Calendula ointment is also used after minor frostbite and sunburn and after radiotherapy.
