Nurse Nora is to bring comfort to anyone going into hospital, having treatment etc. My friends daughter was having an operation, she was only 6 and really frightened so I came up with the idea of Nurse Nora who would accompany her and look after her and had the badge with the girls photo saying Nurse Nora would look after her. My friend said her daughter did not let go of Nurse Nora during the whole time she was in hospital saying she bought her so much comfort and peace. I have now made hundreds of Nurse Nora’s and everyone before they go into the box is told to look after their new owner.
