Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
Most items will be dispatched within 1 day of ordering (see each listing), and I can send on your behalf - just add my Direct to Recipient upgrade to your order.
I use Track 24, or 1st class for cards, as standard, but you can also add an upgrade to Special Delivery.
I've paused commissions for my embroidered play scenes and patchwork quilts until next year, but I have gift voucher options.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Quilted fabric card, featuring a cute green dragon flying over castle battlements. Ideal as a birthday card for a child, the card is blank inside for you to write your own message so can also be used for other occasions. Why not use to wish a child good luck on starting school?
This is part of my zero-waste range, where I use small offcuts of fabric to create beautiful little gifts.
I fussy cut the image of the dragon from fabric left over from my playmats and quilts, and backed it with an offcut of thin wadding. I used a machine quilting technique to add relief to the outline of the dragon and some of the castle background, giving it a slightly 3-D effect.
The fabric is mounted in a tri-fold aperture card in quality white cardstock, and comes with a matching envelope.
