Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Poppy Heart. An original design of mine, which features a gorgeous bright red field poppy with a millefiori bead in the centre and with green textured glass leaves.
The flower is enclosed in a heart shape with the surrounding glass in clear but very prettily textured glass.
It would make a lovely present as it is quite unique. Hanging in the window the Poppy heart catches the light and it would make a very pretty ornament for any room at any time of year.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart. It is 12 cm long and 12 cm high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
