Stonechats love to look for their next snack while perching on top of Cornish hedges, which are made of earth faced with rock - the wild flowers just arrive and add their colours and shapes.

Stonechats are attractive, Robin-sized birds which are often found at the coast and seen perching at the top of low bushes, flicking their wings.
Hand carved woodcut printed on 60% cotton rag soft-white Fabriano Rosaspina 285gsm, coloured with artists watercolours, signed and titled.
Original woodcut in un-numbered edition, very slightly variable as each one is printed and coloured by hand.
NB Blue watercolour may not display correctly on screen - the blue in Stonechat is cobalt blue
Image size 125mm x 90mm, paper size 200mm x 170mm.
Woodcuts are sold unframed and sent in a card-backed recyclable clear protective sleeve, packaged with more cardboard.
