The Long Journey.
This humpback whale is made entirely from copper wire, with a natural stone base.
I used very thick copper wire to make a frame, then thin wire is carefully threaded and woven through this to create the details.
I have chosen a natural stone to complement the swimming whale, the sculpture can stay outside all year in all seasons. If it is to be placed indoors, you would need to protect any surface from scratches by the natural stone.
The whale can be detached from the base for ease of transport and positioning.
The Humpback is 40cm long 24cm wide and 30cm high including the base.
