Hi there! Welcome to my shop- Islamaymakes.
All of my makes are my own ideas and exclusive to me. Yes- they do cost a little more than mass produced items because they are all one of a kind , handsticthed, embroidered works of felt art.
I use only heirloom quality 100 % wool felt made in Europe and supplied by two UK based companies.
The felt is soft, strong, non-flammable and naturally stain resistant: it doesn't lose shape or go bobbly and contains no nasty chemicals.
I use natural 100% British wool fleece for stuffing my makes. It has been carefully washed and dried in the UK and has not been bleached or subjected to any chemical processes.
Natural wool’s advantages over synthetic alternatives are clear; it is hypoallergenic, odour resistant, and a natural fire retardant.
I sew with DMC or Anchor 100 % cotton threads , Liberty Print Tana Lawn for appliques work and where possible I use Tana Lawn spaghetti cord or cotton sateen ribbon for my hangers.

Full description
This pale grey felt horse, hanging keepsake decoration, will add a touch of rustic equestrian charm to your home. Designed and made by me using completely natural products, namely, 100% wool felt , pure wool , fleece stuffing and DMC cotton embroidery thread, this ornament features a darker grey felt mane and tail. I have appliqued a brown saddle with a red saddle pad peeking out from underneath. The horse’s bridle and reins are embroidered in red thread to match it’s red winners rosette.
The decoration comes with a red sateen ribbon loop for easy hanging, making it a versatile addition to any room for many years to come.

This felt horse ornament would make a thoughtful gift for horse lovers and equestrians of all ages.
