I'd already made a clutch bag from this fabric but there was enough left over for another bag. I thought the square boxy style of this bag was really well suited to the crispness of the black and white check. Smart enough for work, but the gold hardware makes it elegant enough for going out.

Smart, elegant and practical black and white houndstooth-check crossbody bag. Totally unique, handmade from pre-existing fabric.
External zip pocket. Faux leather Shabby Duck logo badge. Lined in contrast fabric, internal slip pocket. Adjustable strap lined in same fabric as internal lining. Outer is upcycled from a pair of trousers (they just looked too comical to wear seriously), lining is new fabric 100% quilt cotton.
