Hi. I am happy to take commissions for my Silk Scarves, Sarongs and Tote bags. Simply message me and I'd love to help. I can gift wrap items if you would like - I use tissue paper and try to recycle/re-use postal packaging materials as much as I can. I hate waste !

I love butterflies !

Full description

Very pretty hand drawn and hand dyed pure silk scarf. The butterflies are all drawn using gold 'gutta' then filled in with silk paints. The main body is salmon pink and has been dyed using the Shibori/Salt technique which creates unusual patterns on the silk. Very pretty.

Measurements are 40cm x 150cm approx/

PLEASE NOTE this has a slight imperfection in it. If you look closely you will see an outline of a butterfly that hasn't been filled in..but unless you know it's there Its not obvious. I've tried to show this in one of the pictures. Because of his I have reduced the price. Nonetheless it's a very pretty scarf and still wearable.
