I've always been fascinated by Greek Myth- especially the Medusa Myth - so I wanted to create something that depicted both faces of Medusa - the beautiful maiden and the snake haired Gorgon.

Medusa, a beautiful mortal maiden. was seduced by Neptune (Poseidon) in a temple to Minerva (Athena), and in revenge, Minerva turned Medusa's beautiful head of hair into snakes. As she was both mortal and had the ability to turn men to stone, Perseus was sent to cut off her head.
This tote bag depicts Medusa the Gorgon on one side and Medusa the Maiden on the other side
Measurements are:15" x 17" (38cm x43cm approx) excluding handles which are long enough to go over your shoulder
