This one started with the base! i found the wooden dish in a charity shop and it called out to have something built in it, and i'd been thinking about hobbits (as you do). The inevitable happened.

Full description
A handcrafted needle-felted diorama of a whimsical hobbit hole. A small round door, characteristic of hobbit homes, painted in red with yellow accents, is framed by a circular stone archway. Surrounding the door is a lush garden filled with colourful flowers in shades of pink, orange, and purple. A pathway leads up to the door, created with blue and gray felt stones. On the right side of the scene, there is a large green felt tree with a brown, crooked storybook trunk. The entire diorama is set on a round wooden base.
