Full description
Sterling silver lightning bolt pendant on a sterling silver chain. Handmade to order. Current making time is 10 - 14 working days from time of ordering. I added a textured flower pattern to the sterling silver clay before cutting out the lightning bolt shape and once dry fired the clay to create a fine sterling silver pendant.
Sterling silver clay also know as precious metal clay (PMC) is a malleable material composed of fine silver particles, water, and a non toxic organic binder.
It can be shaped, textured and sculpted just like polymer clay. With the precious silver clay, when heated the binder burns away and you have an item of fine sterling silver.
After firing I polish with a wire brush which give a sating like finish before burnishing with an agate stone to get the finished classic shine on sterling silver. The pattern is smooth to the touch.
Your lightning bolt pendant is approximately 3 cm in length and attached with a small 4mm jump ring through which the 18 inch chain is threaded through. All sterling silver. Your unique item of handmade artisan jewellery is sent to you is a luxurious gift box all ready to give as a gift.
