I absolutely love antique and vintage items, particularly tools and craft related items, so I absolutely fell in love with this antique bronze jewellery die and knew I had to make something with it.

This beautiful pendant is made using an antique Indian bronze jewellery mould, also known as a die or a shot plate.
The design reminds me of a twisted fan, and also somewhat of Paisley print which has a history near to where I live with the Scottish fascination with Indian art.
The mould is completely unique, having been hand-carved and shaped. It likely originally would have been used to shape high purity gold through hammering, but this charm is pure 99.9% silver. The age of the mould is not known, but it is estimated to be 100-200 years old and was sourced from a dealer in Indian antiques in the UK.
The charm is supplied with a simple 20” curb chain, which may not be identical to the chain in the photographs.
The pendant is made with recycled silver and the chain is completely recycled.
Stamped “.999FS” for 99.9% purity fine silver.
Size - 27mm long by 13mm wide (not including bail/jump ring.)
Your order will arrive in a little decorative gift/storage box.
Please be aware; these pieces are completely handmade by me in my home workshop in Glasgow. Every single piece of jewellery is different and will therefore have small variations and “imperfections” such as irregularities, small cracks and fingerprints, which serve to make it unique.
