The Little Escapes collection is painted from photos that I take on beach walks by the West Pier, Brighton. Sometimes I paint calm landscapes and sometimes wild winds and waves. They each hold a moment of the wonderful energy of being by the coast.
My tiny art affirmations are little reminders to take a moment to pause and ponder. I create the little affirmations for myself and others who need a little boost or a compassionate thought.
I live with mental illness and have learned that taking time to notice small, wonderful things, can really help me. I started creating these tiny landscapes as part of a project and now make them for others to have a little ocean vibe too.

Full description
This small original art is hand painted with acrylic ink and pigments. Tiny details have been added with drawing ink and a glass dip pen. The art is inspired by the weather at the beach when the waves and the winds are high and the gulls are playing overhead.
The art is presented in a white mount measuring 3" x 3", it is unframed.
The tiny art pieces are unique, original and hand painted on my art table in Brighton with sound of the gulls overhead. This piece is part of the Little Escapes collection of small abstract landscapes, painted so you can bring that feeling of being at the wild beach to your space.
Each Little Escape is signed on the reverse, presented in a 3" mount, labelled and packaged in a biodegradable cello bag for protection.
These small pieces are 3"x 3" mounted, sent unframed, wrapped with care and packaged in hard backed envelopes. They are suitable as a letterbox gift. UK postage is included.
This miniature art is perfect for adding some coastal energy to your space, desk or fridge. It will fit a 3" frame if desired. Choose your favourite art from the collections for an inspiring group display that's perfect for a small space.
