I had fun in creating the beads for this necklace, the pictures do not do the design justice as the turquoise of the glass is very intense, impossible to capture in a photograph, it is an incredible colour, the beads at the far edge of the picture are more representative of the actual colour, the splashes of orange on the central bead are fantastic too!

The 7 main beads in the design are very individual (slightly bonkers actually!) some are smaller than others but they are all solid glass and the necklace is a substantial piece of wearable art. In total, I have used 15 beads of which 8 are plain turquoise. I have also used facetted haematite roundels as spacer beads with silver lined seed beads

Overall the necklace is 20 1/2" long with a silver plated chain and heart shaped toggle and bar clasp for closure.

All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
