The ox-eye daisy forms a large part of my wildflower garden mainly because it spreads so fast! Such a lovely site though when their cheerful heads are bobbing around. *The yellow centre of the oxeye daisy is made up of many small flowers which hold nectar and are exploited by various pollinating insects, including butterflies, bees and hoverflies.
The plant was used in traditional medicines to treat various health problems, such as coughs and asthma. The flower heads have also been used to make tea. ( *notes courtesy of the Woodland Trust)

Original Framed art. Inspired by the series 'Bridgerton', with its elegant regency style and love of flowers and gardens, I have put together some pretty framed Cyanotypes, and named them after some of the ladies in the series, a perfect gift for Bridgerton lovers.
Kate- A traditional Cyanotype, with an Ox eye Daisy as the botanical. Where the light has shone through the delicate pressed petals we see lighter blues, set on a Prussian blue background and embellished with some gold ink. The gorgeous silver-coloured frame is adorned with gems for some extra sparkle and has a scrolled edge.
It has a velvet effect back and stand giving it a luxurious feel. Perfect for a side table, picture shelf, or dresser. I'm sure 'Lady Whistledown' would approve.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘Kate’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The beautiful heavy metal frame is approximately 11cm x 8cm and has a glass front.
The Aperture size is approximately 5cm x 8cm
The photogram will be posted out securely in a reusable lined Postal Box.
