HISTORY.

The two door sports estate version of the Scimitar known as the GTE was produced from 1968 to 1986 utilising the Ford 3 litre V6 engine during which time it evolved quite significantly so that one of the final versions depicted here was lengthened by 10cm and the track by 8cm. The body was fibreglass giving a good weight to power ration that gave it a 0-60mph time of just under 11 seconds that was impressive for the time.

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
