Full description
This is a stunning blue flower lampwork glass and sterling silver beaded necklace and earring set, designed using my own handcrafted glass beads with three, four petalled glass flowers within the bead, each flower having an air bubble in the centre to give an extra dimension to them.
All of the beads have a pale, transparent blue base, the flower petals are cobalt blue glass that has been overlain onto a periwinkle blue opaque glass. The petal beads of the necklace are between 15-17mm in diameter, the clear blue spacing beads are 11-13mm approximately in diameter. The earrings have been made using smaller petal beads that are around 12mm diameter.
Both the necklace and earrings have Bali style Sterling silver beads to compliment the glass with Sterling silver chain, toggle clasps and ear wires.
Necklace length 18" approximately with a heart shaped toggle and bar clasp.
Earring drop 2" approximately including the ear wires.
Please be mindful that each bead has been created in the flame individually, it will differ from other beads within the set slightly making them unique. The beads once completed in the flame to my satisfaction are transferred to my kiln for overnight annealing which gives them strength and durability to withstand environmental fluctuations.
I have tried as best I can to photograph the necklace accurately but colour representations will depend on your monitor.
