Handmade 'bloom' pottery vase glazed in simply clay.
This vase is 3.9 inches (10 cm) in diameter and 7.8 inches (20 cm) in height. This vase has been reduced slightly due to a crowning on the bottom of the piece which has given it a slight wobble.
Hand thrown from British stoneware clay this vase has a tulip shape with outwardly pointing edge giving it a graceful silhouette. The outside has been hand-painted with abstract shapes in pale blue and vibrant orange hues creating visual texture. On the front the word 'bloom' has been hand modelled in cursive and painted in bright pink, a reminder of growth and beauty inspired by flowers. Small hand etched floral details add depth and dimension to the design of the piece and on the bottom you'll find the Little Wren Pottery logo. It's been finished off with a glossy transparent glaze for a practical finish.
