I use old clothes as the main materials for my textile art which I usually buy from the sale rails or discount bins in charity shops. I often saw sad old jumpers; bit bobbly, needing darned or misshapen but perfect to chop up and make with. My daughter was sad that she had grown out of a festive jumper (bought in a charity shop) and so I turned it into wrist warmers for her and thought these would be particularly great gifts this year as people are trying to save mover on heating.

Full description
Warm rose pink wool wrist-warmers with ribbed cuffs and burgundy hand stitched detail. One pair is plain. The other has a ribbed detail. Where this fell on the jumper means both gloves are the same rather than a mirror image meaning the ribbed detail sits on top of the right hand and on the palm of the left.
Wrist warmers are great both indoors and out; keeping warm while working from home but still able to type/write/sew or out shopping but no need to remove to keep removing. Finished with hand stitch detail.
Made from secondhand jumpers with varying wool content so advise only washing by hand. Each jumper yields only 4-6 pairs with a variety of pattern and cuff, so when they are gone, they are gone. See other listings for alternative colours and patterns.
Warning: Variations need to be removed manually. Usually I have time between sales to do this but on the rare occasion of a variation being selected by more than one person, I will contact you to ask you to choose an alternative or offer you a refund. Thanks for understanding.
