Hi there! Welcome to my shop- Islamaymakes.
All of my makes are my own ideas and exclusive to me. Yes- they do cost a little more than mass produced items because they are all one of a kind , handsticthed, embroidered works of felt art.
I use only heirloom quality 100 % wool felt made in Europe and supplied by two UK based companies.
The felt is soft, strong, non-flammable and naturally stain resistant: it doesn't lose shape or go bobbly and contains no nasty chemicals.
I use natural 100% British wool fleece for stuffing my makes. It has been carefully washed and dried in the UK and has not been bleached or subjected to any chemical processes.
Natural wool’s advantages over synthetic alternatives are clear; it is hypoallergenic, odour resistant, and a natural fire retardant.
I sew with DMC or Anchor 100 % cotton threads , Liberty Print Tana Lawn for appliques work and where possible I use Tana Lawn spaghetti cord or cotton sateen ribbon for my hangers.

Gift for a ballet dancer ! This OOAK felt Ballerina Pot is inspired by the Fuzzy Felt dancers of the 1970's. I have decorated the storage pot with some original Fuzzy Felt characters. The three different dancers are sewn onto 100% wool, heritage quality felt. The pot is fully lined with lilac wool felt and the lined stripey lid is finished off with a wool felt ball and purple ribbon.
This would be a perfect gift for a ballet mad child to keep hair bobbles and clips in.
All of my makes are my own ideas and exclusive to me. They do cost a little more than mass produced items because they are all original handsticthed works of felt art ,and take many hours to design and make.
They are made to last and be cherished and kept as a family heirloom.

All of my makes are made from premium quality 100 % wool felt which is soft,strong,non-flammable and naturally stain resistant.
I also use DMC rainbow colours cotton thread which is made from 100% natural cotton.
Although very attractive to both adults and children, my makes they are NOT toys. They are decorative accessories and as such have not been tested for toy safety.
