Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed a ring containing a big red heart and then drew curved pathways leading down to it. I was going to call it "The Way to your Heart".
Then I added some abstract shapes to my pathways, cut them out in Rainbow colours and suddenly my design had become a Rainbow Heart. That's creativity for you.
Really pleased with this vibrant suncatcher made from a super collection of different types, textures of glass including a little piece of collage fusing glass at the bottom right which looks rather as if the heart is bleeding.
The suncatcher is 16.5cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached by soldered little ring to the top. It is framed with twisted wire for strength and neatness.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
