PICTURE - I took this picture in March 2019 at a rally organised by Horsham District Council.

HISTORY - LaFerrari ( 2013-2018) is the first hybrid produced by the Italian automotive marque, LaFerrari's internal combustion petrol powerplant is a longitudinally rear mid-mounted Ferrari F140 direct fuel injected 65° V12 engine with a displacement of 6,262 cc (6.3 L) generating a maximum power output of 800 PS (588 kW; 789 hp) at 9,000 rpm supplemented by a 163 PS (120 kW; 161 hp) KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) unit which provides short bursts of extra power.

The car uses a carbon fibre monocoque structure designed by Ferrari's F1 technical director Rory Byrne and has a 7 speed gearbox.

Ferrari states that the car has a top speed exceeding 349 km/h (217 mph), similar to the Enzo's top speed, however, it is capable of accelerating from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds, 0–200 km
